Yoga & Music for Kids

This workshop will involve an integration of music making, chant, yoga flow, breath work, mindfulness, storytelling and a winter theme, will encourage creative imagination, expressive movement, compassion, and joy for you and your family! This workshop is recommended for children aged 2.5 – 6 years with their parent. Led by certified yoga instructor, Christine Iarrobino, and board certified music therapist, Dr. Krystal Demaine, PhD, MT-BC, RYT.

MCBA Book Club (Call To Sign Up)

Join us for our first MCBA Book Club, featuring the 2018 booklist. We will be meeting once a month to discus one of the 25 books on the list. For our first meeting we will be discussing Roller Girl. Light refreshments will be served. A fun activity will follow the discussion.

What is the Massachusetts Children’s Book Award?

The MCBA (Massachusetts Children’s Book Award) list is for students in the fourth, fifth and sixth grades.
Students are given a master list of book titles. After reading five of the books, students may vote for their favorite The list is compiled from nominations of participating teachers, librarians, and interested publishers. A selection committee works with the nominations and chooses 25 titles to appear on the master list.
