NOTE: To be eligible for the Topsfield Fair Prize (25 Books), you must return your log by Friday, August 12 - No exceptions.
1. Read books from June 20 - August 12.
2. Come into the library - get your reading log and put your name on a hot air balloon or airplane.
3. Record the books you read in your reading log.
(Logs can be picked up beginning June 20.)
4. For each book you read, write the title in your log.
5. Bring your log to the library each week to have a librarian stamp it.
6. Read books on your reading level and above.
7. Look for info on the Summer Reading Celebration to be held in August.
8. Topsfield Fair packets will be available for all summer readers (those going into grade 5 and younger) who have read at least 25 books.
9. For those reading chapter books, you may count five chapters as one book. (Example: If a book has 20 chapters, count that as four books on your log.)

You must have your reading logs finished and returned to the library by Friday, August 12 to be eligible for summer prizes.
11. The Topsfield Fair prize must be picked up by Thursday, September 15.
You will be notified when the prizes are here. Be sure your name is on the sign-up sheet when you reach the 25 book total.
