Gardening Specialist Suzanne Crooker will discuss planting herbs and veggies in containers and in the garden. She’ll talk about the various uses of herbs: which ones dry or freeze well, which have a long shelf life, and other options for storage and preparation. Participants will leave with some of her favorite recipes for using fresh herbs in the kitchen!
About the Presenter: Suzanne has been an avid gardener for many years. After retiring from her first career as a teacher, she worked for Mahoney’s in Winchester for 15 years. She became their expert on herbs and vegetables, and her presentations combine her practical experience with her love of teaching. Recently retired, she’s happily working in her own gardens and continues to share her knowledge and love of gardening with others.
