This introductory talk discusses the fundamentals of growing orchids and the basics of orchid culture: temperature,orchid water, light, and fertilizer. Discover the different types of orchids and their varying cultural requirements. The talk will also include an overview of potting concepts.
Sasha Crotty is the Vice President and past President of the Massachusetts Orchid Society and has been growing orchids in small Boston condos for eight years. With orchid real-estate hard to come by, a fascination with miniature orchids was born. Sasha’s home now houses 250+ orchids and has recently seen the introduction of automated watering systems.
