Every 10 years the US Constitution mandates that we preform a census to count every individual in the US. This census is used for determining everything from how much representation we get in congress to the allocation of resources to hospitals. It is very important to count everyone so the library is partnering with the United States Census for this decades count. This time around the census will mostly be conducted online or over the phone and we are here to help.
What Will The Library Do?
- Starting March 16 there will have two dedicated chromebooks for filling out the census and all public computers on the 2nd floor will have a link to My2020Census.
- April 1 (census day) We will host a Do Your Census Drop In. Come by the library any time between 6pm and 8pm and we will have chromebooks set up for you to do your sense with help from our staff
- Most important we provide staff to help you fill out your census.
