After enjoying Ruth Reichl’s My Kitchen Year (a cookbook? a memoir? a tell-all?), I thought I’d give this a try, but it wasn’t really for me. I’m currently listening to The Cleaner, by Brett Battles, a thriller about Jonathan Quinn, a “professional cleaner” – the person whose job it is to remove the bodies and evidence after a hit. A job goes sideways and Quinn has to break all of his own rules to save the day, etc, etc. It’s not the type of book I typically read, but it’s quick and I wanted a change of pace. I’ve also just started reading The Rise and Fall of the Dinosaurs by Steve Brusatte, which is much more my type of book, and so far, I’m enjoying it.

~Alex Lent

I just listened to Good Clean Fun by Nick Offerman, which is a memoir? a how-to-book? a satire?
