Fatal forecast ~ Mike Tougias

fatal-forecast.gifThis author of Ten Hours Until Dawn has written another compelling account of a disaster at sea.  Two small fishing boats set out to Georges Bank in November 1980 on what marine forecasts lead them to believe is  typical fall weather for that day. Due to a malfunctioning weather buoy, both vessels encounter a storm of monumental proportion. Tougias details the strength of the human will to survive against the unrelenting force of the sea.

  1. Michael Tougias is a great storyteller. I couldn’t stand to finish Ten Hours Till Dawn, because I got so attached to the characters. I hope Fatal Forecast has a happier ending!
