-1 box elbow pasta
-3 Tbsp butter
-3 Tbsp flour
-2 cups of milk
-Pinch of salt and pepper
-2 cups of shredded cheese (I like Sharp Cheddar but American or Swiss works great.)
–Cook and drain Pasta.
-Melt butter in a good size pot and add flour whisking until it is slightly brown about 2 minutes.
-Add the milk and whisk until there are no flour lumps.
-Add salt and pepper.
-Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens about 5 minutes, stir a lot.
-Add the cheese and whisk until smooth and melted.
-Pour the sauce over the elbows and mix really well.
-Pour into a large buttered casserole dish
-Toast a few slices of bread and dice them up.
-Melt about 2 Tbsp of butter and dunk the bread cubes into the butter and put on top, this is the best part
Bake in a 350 oven about 20-25 mins until bubbly.
