My colleague Chelsey recommended Andy Weir’s (then) new book about a year ago and I was intrigued and added it to my TBR list. But that’s a long list and I just recently got to reading it. I loved it! Project Hail Mary, like Weir’s huge hit The Martian, is about the human side of space travel. It’s really an adventure story that just happens to be set in space. Weir has a gift for making science accessible and easy to understand. His stories have a lot of humor, but the stakes are very high and the story will keep you in suspense. Like Chelsey, I highly recommend this book.
