Library Building Opened

Affective June 1, 2021, the library building will be open to the public. In accordance with the governor’s announcement, fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear masks in the building. Patrons who are not vaccinated are strongly advised to continue wearing masks. Patron between the ages of 5 and 12 should remain masked as well. Anyone who wishes to continue to wear a mask is encouraged to do so.

What Has Changed and What Remains The Same

Browsing the Collection

The library’s collections are fully available to be browsed.

Public Seating

Some seating has been rearranged or removed to allow for distancing.

Children’s Room

The Children’s Room is open to patrons. However, the play area is not be available at this time.

Computer Access

Computer access will continue to be provided by laptops in the Gordon Room. Access is by appointment only Monday – Thursday 10am-5pm and some Saturdays (Check the Event Calendar for Saturday availability) The desktop computers on the 2nd floor will be unavailable for now.

Remote Check Out and Printing

Starting June 1 patrons will be able to check out items in the library. However, for the time being the library will continue to provide Remote Check Out to those patrons who wish to take advantage of it. Similarly Remote Printing will remain available for the time being.
